    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an EIS measurement apparatus, and an apparatus and method for detecting a temperature of a busbar using EIS. According to an embodiment, a busbar temperature detection apparatus using EIS is an apparatus for detecting a temperature of a busbar formed between a plurality of cells or modules, and may include an EIS measurement unit configured to additionally assign an EIS measurement channel to the busbar and to measure impedance from an electrical signal applied to the busbar, a temperature estimation unit configured to estimate a temperature of the busbar based on the impedance measured by the EIS measurement unit, and an abnormality detection unit configured to detect an abnormal temperature of the busbar by comparing the temperature estimated by the temperature estimation unit with a preset reference temperature.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a device and a method for detecting a battery abnormality using a voltage deviation variation. According to one embodiment of the present disclosure, the device includes: a memory configured to store at least one instruction for detecting a battery abnormality using a voltage deviation variation; and a processor configured to perform an operation according to the instruction, wherein the processor is configured to: calculate a voltage change of the battery and store the calculated voltage change as a variable; and calculate a Differential Deviation Voltage Detection (DDVD), which is a change in voltage difference among respective cells within a battery module, and detect a battery abnormality using the voltage deviation variation (DDVD) and the stored variable.

    Abstract: An electrochemical impedance spectroscopy measurement apparatus, method, and a battery system are provided. The method and the battery system use the apparatus. The electrochemical impedance spectroscopy measurement apparatus includes an EIS measurement part, and an AC discharge switching part. The EIS measurement part is connected to each of a plurality of battery cells included in a battery module, and is configured to perform electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) measurement on each of the plurality of battery cells during AC discharge of the battery module. The AC discharge switching part is connected to the battery module to form an AC discharge path so that AC discharge of the battery module is performed for electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) measurement in the EIS measurement part. The AC discharge path is connected to a node with the highest voltage among a plurality of nodes of the plurality of battery cells electrically connected.
