Abstract: A signal processing apparatus and method are provided. The signal processing apparatus includes a counter which counts the number of internal clocks; a clock adjustment value determiner which compares a count value of external clocks contained in a broadcast signal to a count value of internal clocks obtained by the counter, and determines a clock adjustment value according to a result of the comparing operation; and a clock adjuster which adjusts the number of the internal clocks based on the determined clock adjustment value. Therefore, it is possible to synchronize the count value of external clocks with the count value of internal clocks using a simple structure.

Abstract: A display apparatus including a signal converter which converts an input analog signal to a digital signal, and a display unit which displays an image. The apparatus comprises a signal analyzer for determining a format of the analog signal. An information inserter adds the determined format information to the digital signal. A video signal processor processes the digital signal according to the format information and outputting the processed signal to the display unit. Thus, the present invention provides a display apparatus for reducing error probability in a signal processing by discriminating a format of an input analog signal and adding information relating to the discriminated format to a digital signal, and a control method of the display apparatus.

Abstract: A fine tuning apparatus in a digital television receiver, including a tuner including first and second local oscillators, a channel decoder for outputting an error value with respect to the degree of frequency deviation of an RF signal from its regular frequency band, the RF signal being tuned by a tuner, and a microprocessor for receiving an error value output from the channel decoder and controlling the second local oscillator in the tuner to reduce the error value. Thus, fine control can be made regardless of a predetermined fine control range in a field which uses a digital television.
