Abstract: The invention provides a gauntlet for tubular type electric storage batteries with air mixing of the electrolyte, the gauntlet including multiple individual tubes forming a cartridge belt type gauntlet, where the walls of at least one of these individual tubes are substantially impermeable to air, as well as a process for its manufacture. The invention further pertains to an electric storage battery using such gauntlets.
