  • Patent number: 5925018
Abstract: An infusion and microdialysis pump comprises a casing (100, 200) and an insertable cylinder and plunger (300) of the injection syringe type. Seated on the plunger rod is a runner element (4) which runs on a motor-driven screw (3), thereby to cause the plunger to dispense fluid.

  • Patent number: 5869774
Abstract: Apparatus for taking up liquid batches, comprising a take-up tube (10), a metering pump (20) for drawing liquid into the take-up tube by suction, and a washing pump (30) which functions to pump washing solution through the take-up tube in a direction opposite to the liquid take-up direction, through the medium of a washing tube (50). The washing pump is a self-sealing displacement pump.

  • Patent number: 5753514
Abstract: When small quantities of liquid sample are to be collected from the outlet of a small cannula tube, there is used a sample container (1) which includes a narrow capillary tube (2) whose one end is closed with an elastomeric seal (4) through which the cannula point can be inserted. Instead of taking liquid from the bottom of a vessel, the liquid is permitted to remain unified by means of capillary forces in the capillary tube (2), which forms part of an axial channel. The capillary widens towards the other end, for taking up larger sample quantities.
