Patent number: 10255346Abstract: Systems, methods, and media for developing ontologies and analyzing communication data are provided herein. In an example implementation, the method includes: identifying terms in in a set of communication data; identifying a list of possible relations of the identified terms; scoring the possible relations according to a set of predefined merits; ranking the possible relations into a list of possible relations in descending order according to their score; and tagging relations in the set of communication data. The relations may be tagged by identifying the possible relations in the communication data in order corresponding with the list of possible relations. The possible relations that have lower rankings that conflict with higher ranking relations are not tagged. The conflicts may be determined by a predefined set of conflict criteria.Type: GrantFiled: January 29, 2015Date of Patent: April 9, 2019Assignee: VERINT SYSTEMS LTD.Inventors: Yair Horesh, Roni Romano, Uri Segal, Omer Ziv

Patent number: 9015437Abstract: The present disclosure provides a system and method for implementing extensible hardware configuration using memory. A memory containing an Info Block is provided. The Info Block contains a set of descriptors, which comprises an address part and a data part. The OTP Engine reads each valid descriptor stored in the Info Block, and writes the data in the data part into the memory location specified by the address part. The OTP Engine interacts with the Info Block by accessing the Info Block Controller registers via the central system bus.Type: GrantFiled: February 28, 2012Date of Patent: April 21, 2015Assignee: SMSC Holdings S.A.R.L.Inventors: Alan Berenbaum, Uri Segal

Patent number: 7069172Abstract: A system and method for generating a test signal used in measuring the speed of a rotating device, such as a fan in a computer system is disclosed. A pulse width modulated (PWM) signal may power the fan with the duty cycle of the PWM signal controlling the speed of the fan. The fan may generate tachometer pulses used for monitoring RPM of the fan. The frequency of the test signal may be selected to be at least twice the frequency of the tachometer pulses. The test signal may be generated from a base frequency signal using two cascaded frequency dividers. The first divider may output a scaled base frequency signal obtained by dividing the base frequency signal by a user programmable scale frequency coefficient corresponding to a maximum test signal frequency for the fan. The second divider may output the test signal by dividing the scaled base frequency signal by a fraction frequency coefficient obtained from and proportional to the current PWM duty cycle value.Type: GrantFiled: May 11, 2004Date of Patent: June 27, 2006Assignee: Standard Microsystems CorporationInventors: Leonid A.
