Abstract: The invention relates to solid disperse dye formulations which do not contain anionic dispersants and which comprise one or more disperse dyes having a particle size of less than 5 .mu.m, and one or more nonionic dispersants selected from the group of the fatty alcohol ethoxylates having a molecular weight of 800 to 2000, of the fatty amine ethoxylates having a molecular weight of 500 to 1000, and of the polyvinylpyrrolidones having a molecular weight of 10,000 to 25,000.These formulations are particularly suitable for preparing organic printing pastes and printing inks which contain synthetic thickeners and which are suitable for textile printing and for transfer printing.

Abstract: Described is a process for the production of solid dustfree preparations of water-soluble dyes and optical brighteners, which process comprises subjecting the pulverulent dyes or optical brighteners, together with a melt or a solution of ethylene carbonate or propylene carbonate, to a dynamic treatment. The preparations obtained have in particular the advantage that the dust-binding effect is retained undiminished over a long period of time, and that they are completely soluble when used in aqueous baths of dyes or optical brighteners.

Abstract: An improved process for the production of granules, comprising application of a granulating liquid to a pulverulent substance being subjected to a rotating movement in such an amount that the point of equilibrium between the moisture content of the substance and that of the air is exceeded, and subsequently drying this moist substance until its moisture content falls to or below this point of equilibrium.
