  • Publication number: 20180051466
Abstract: The invention relates to a fan-shaped sun or weather protection device (1) having radially extending bars (2, 3, 7, 7?), wherein the bars (2, 3, 7, 7?) are moved between a closed and a spread state of the fan (1) by means of a preloading element (5). When the fan is closed (13), driving energy is stored in the preloading element (5), which driving energy is subsequently used to drive the spreading of the fan (1). An angle of inclination of the fan (1) about a tilt axis can also be set by actuating the adjustment apparatus (9), wherein said adjustment is preloaded by means of a further preloading element (10).

  • Patent number: 6640868
Abstract: A weather protection device including at least one foldable protection component having a plurality of shafts and a none-circular trapaulin attached to one of the shafts, and further including a mounting device for supporting the protection component in a predetermined position and arranged in such a way that it provides for rotation of the unfolded protection component around a vertical or horizontal axis, for adjusting the height of the protection component, for setting the protection component at an angle, and/or for at least partially unfolding the tarpaulin using a take-up yoke.

  • Patent number: 6273115
Abstract: A proposed wind and weather protection device is designed in the form of a collapsible pavilion. The collapsible pavilion is provided with a collapsible roof (1) formed from circular segments. In two preferential design variants, the maximum opening angle of the pavilion is 180°, 90° or 270°. The roof (1) consists of a central nodal element (2) on which several roof spars (11) are fixed. The roof spars (11) support a covering element (21) in the form of a circular segment. To extend the roof (1), at least one tensioning device is provided. The pavilion can have vertical side supports. Each side support is positioned at the outer end of each roof spar. Furthermore, the pavilion can be equipped with a side wall. A gathering device can be used to ensure that the covering element (21) does not hang too far down when folded.
