  • Patent number: 10728964
Abstract: A flash unit that includes a flash generator having at least one energy storage element and at least two light source channels as well as having at least two flash tubes, the flash tubes being supplied with energy by the energy storage element by means of the light source channels. The flash unit further includes an energy quantity control device, by means of which it is possible to provide for each light source channel any desired energy quantity from a minimum charge to a maximum charge of the at least one energy storage element, and a color temperature control device, by means of which it is possible to set a color temperature for each light source channel independently of the energy quantity provided therefor. The functions of all light source channels are fully equivalent.

  • Publication number: 20120112658
Abstract: A flash unit (1) with a flash generator (20) with at least one energy store (21) and at least two luminaire channels and with at least two flash tubes (11, 12, 13), wherein the flash tubes (11, 12, 13) are supplied with energy by the energy store (21) via the luminaire channels, with an energy quantity control apparatus (14), by means of which any desired quantity of energy from the minimum charge up to the maximum charge of the at least one energy store (21) can be provided for each luminaire channel, and with a colour temperature control apparatus (15), by means of which a coloured temperature can be set for each luminaire channel independently of the quantity of energy provided therefor, and a corresponding method therefor.

  • Patent number: 7214904
Abstract: A drilling device (1) for placing a bore hole (2) in a workpiece (3), includes a drill laser (4) that generates a laser beam (6) suitable for placing the bore hole (2), and a jet nozzle (5) for producing a gas jet (8), which flows toward the bore hole (2) and encases the laser beam (6) essentially coaxially and blows out melt (9) from the bore hole (2) and prevents a backward splashing of the melt (9) in the direction of the drilling device (1), wherein the diameter (dG) of the gas jet (8), at least at the bore hole opening (10), is smaller than the diameter (dB) of the bore hole (2) produced by the laser beam (6).

  • Patent number: 4853600
Abstract: The illumination device includes a charging part, an energy storage device, a flash tube and an amplitude control device, by means of which the energy storage device can be charged to different voltages. A time control device is superposed upon the amplitude control device. In consequence of the two control devices, the flash tube emits light with a predetermined color temperature as a function of the set amplitude and of the set flash duration. The color temperature can thereby be influenced in a controlled manner, with the maintenance of a very fine setting of the quantity of light, and can also be maintained constant independent of the quantity of light emitted.
