    Abstract: A battery may include at least two battery cells and at least two electrical cell contacts for picking up a monitoring signal. The battery may include a main board arranged spaced apart from the battery cells. The main board may include at least two electrical board contacts. The main board may include at least one electronic component configured to process the monitoring signal. The battery may include a flexible conductor track for electrically connecting each cell contact with an associated board contact. The conductor track may include (i) a cell portion connected to the cell contacts and (ii) a board portion connected to the board contacts. The conductor track may include at least two electrical conductors connected to one of the cell contacts and the associated board contact. The battery may include a support plate supporting the board portion of the main board.
