  • Patent number: 11880197
Abstract: A remote vehicle control system includes a vehicle mounted sensor system including a video camera system for producing video data and a distance mapping sensor system for producing distance map data. A data handling system is used to compress and transmit both the video and distance map data over a cellular network using feed forward correction. A virtual control system acts to receive the video and distance map data, while providing a user with a live video stream supported by distance map data. Based on user actions, control instructions can be sent to the vehicle mounted sensor system and the remote vehicle over the cellular network.

  • Publication number: 20230329674
Abstract: An ultrasound system includes a processor and an ultrasound transducer array. The processor receives a first ultrasound image and a second ultrasound (1320) image from the transducer array. The first and second ultrasound images may be perpendicular to one another. The processor generates a score associated with the first ultrasound image and compares the score to a threshold score. Based on the score not satisfying the threshold score, the processor then determines a new imaging plane and directs the transducer array to obtain a third ultrasound image (1410) according to the new imaging plane. The third ultrasound image may also be perpendicular to the second ultrasound image. The processor circuit then displays the third ultrasound image and the second ultrasound image. The processor circuit also identifies an angle corresponding to the new imaging plane and displays an indicator (1342) overlaid over the second ultrasound image identifying the new imaging plane of the third ultrasound image.

  • Patent number: 11740624
Abstract: A hybrid control system includes a control agent and a control engine. The control engine is configured to install a master plan to the control agent. The master plan includes a plurality of high-level tasks. The control agent is configured to operate according to the master plan to, for each high-level task of the high-level tasks, obtain one or more low-level controls and to perform the one or more low-level controls to realize the high-level task. The control agent is configured to operate according to the master plan to transition between the plurality of high-level tasks thereby causing a seamless transition between operating at least partially autonomously and operating at least partially based on input from the tele-operator, based at least on context for the control agent, to operate at least partially autonomously and at least partially based on input from the tele-operator during execution of the master plan.

  • Patent number: 9298790
Abstract: The replication of an asset from a source cluster in a source data center to multiple target clusters in multiple destination data centers. The replication occurs by first estimating or determining a cost parameter associated with copying of the asset from the source cluster to each of at least some of the target clusters. As an example, the cost parameter might be a geographical parameter, but might also be any cost parameter such as a channel bandwidth, channel cost, utilization ratio or the like. Based on the cost parameters, an order of replication priority is determined. Then, the replication is initiated in accordance with the prioritization. The replication may occur in multiple phases, and replication prioritization may occur on a per phase basis.

  • Patent number: 8702418
Abstract: In one embodiment, a method for generating heat energy includes injecting a stream having a concentration of at least 50% oxygen (O2 stream) into a primary gas stream through a mixer, the mixer discharging the O2 stream as two or more spaced jets traversing the primary stream, thereby enriching the primary gas stream. The method further includes mixing fuel with the enriched primary gas stream, thereby forming a fuel stream; and combusting the fuel stream, thereby forming a flue gas stream.
