Abstract: The invention relates to a method of producing a valve arrangement and to a valve arrangement for an expansion valve, which is provided in a vehicle air conditioning system operated with refrigerant and has a basic opening in the valve seat, the cross section of this basic opening being produced for a predetermined mass flow by material removal.
