Abstract: The invention relates to tablets consisting of pressed particulate washing or cleaning agents and comprising at least two reinforcing grooves on the upper side thereof, the horizontal extension of said grooves on the plane of the tablet surface being longer than the depth thereof. The inventive tablets are characterized by a short disintegration time for a pre-determined hardness and exhibit increased stability in terms of shock loads and falls.

Abstract: A spatially optimized form of detergent tablets, which is provided with the greatest possible volume while being useable in the largest possible number of dosing chambers of known dishwashers available on the European market. Said detergent tablets comprise a bottom surface and a top surface. The places of the two surfaces are not parallel across at least half of the size of the smaller surface.
