  • Publication number: 20230006940
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described to support entering a fast-negative acknowledgement (NACK) mode. A user equipment (UE) may enter a fast-NACK mode and may decrease a value of a respective timer for one or more wireless connections (e.g., may override the timer independently for each connection). The timer may be referred to as a retransmission request time duration. If configured with two or more component carriers (CCs), the UE may determine a value of the timer based on a location of a data hole within the two or more CCs. Based on entering the fast-NACK mode, the UE may override a configured timer for the respective wireless connection with a new, shorter timer. Based on expiration of the new timer, the UE may transmit an RLC NACK to a base station via the corresponding wireless connection.

  • Patent number: 11537390
Abstract: A Smart Products Lifecycle Management (sPLM) system that is built upon the smart component data model and the NPD3 process model, is enabling engineers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to collaborate on a common platform to develop smart products. The sPLM system is validated by applying it to unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) development and operations, referred to as UsPLM. The UsPLM has shared lifecycle management functions that are provided as web services and can be applied to all digital models of UAS devices, software, autonomy functions, and missions. The individual models can be versioned, tracked, and be composed with other compatible models, if needed. The rule and scoring engines embedded in the UsPLM allow building and executing configuration rules, regulation rules, and various machine-learning models. This facilitates modular UAS architecture design so that the UAS has the flexibility to be reconfigured for various mission applications.

  • Publication number: 20220379612
Abstract: A pagewide array (PWA) print bar of a printing device prints a calibration pattern on a print medium. The print bar is nominally perpendicular to a media advancement direction in which the print medium advances relative to the PWA print bar during printing. An image of the printed calibration pattern is optically scanned, and a skew angle by which the PWA print bar deviates from true perpendicular to the media advancement direction is calculated based on the optically scanned image. The printing device is calibrated to compensate for the calculated skew angle during subsequent printing.

  • Publication number: 20220374215
Abstract: A computer implemented method determines a placement of an application being added to a network. The method includes determining a logical-physical mapping for the application. Sub-graphs in the logical-physical mapping are identified. A stored application in a catalog of applications previously used in the network is located. The stored application includes one of the sub-graphs in the logical-physical mapping. An experiment is generated, performed by a computing device running a neural network model, using the sub-graphs. The experiment includes inducing a physical node mapping for the sub-graph. A cost function associated with a placement of the application being added to the network to one or more physical nodes in the induced physical node mapping is determined.
