  • Patent number: 4023015
Abstract: A normally open micro-switch in the energizing circuit of an electro-mechanical counter is actuated for indicating hoisting winch operation by means of a cam fixed to the control lever of the winch take-off clutch.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: May 24, 1976
Date of Patent: May 10, 1977
    Inventor: Uville A. Garcia
  • Patent number: 3959634
Abstract: A mechanical operation counter is independently connected by a slide wire cable to one arm of the control lever of a lever-actuated power take-off clutch, the other end of which lever normally interconnects through a slide wire cable to a push-pull knob for manually controlling the operation of the clutch. The independently controlled operation counter comprises an electrical switching device including a pair of spaced electrical contact members and a slide bar fixed with respect to the remote end of the operation counter cable slide wire and having a spring pressed shorting bar adapted to close-circuit the switch contact members each time the associated control wire is pushed in or out with respect to its outer sleeve during movement of the power take-off clutch lever as controlled by its associated manually controlled slide wire cable.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: February 21, 1975
Date of Patent: May 25, 1976

  • Patent number: 3944793
Abstract: A mechanical operation counter for use in association with flexible slide-wire cable utilized for remotely manually controlling the operation of a mechanical device to which the cable is attached. A normally open electrical switching device comprising a microswitch and a slide bar fixed with respect to the cable slide-wire and adapted to actuate the microswitch each time the remote end of the control wire is pushed in or out with respect to its outer sleeve during a manually controlled operation, is connected in series with an energization circuit for an electro-mechanical counter serving to record the number of individual operations being performed upon the controlled mechanism by such manual actuation of the cable slide-wire.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 12, 1974
Date of Patent: March 16, 1976
