  • Patent number: 11876330
Abstract: A tool for producing an arrangement composed of an electrical line and a contact device with a crimp sleeve includes a first press jaw unit and a guide unit. The first press jaw unit delimits a tool receptacle and receives the crimp sleeve and the electrical line. The first press jaw unit has a first press jaw with a first press surface and a second press jaw with a second press surface. The second press surface is adjustable between a first press position positioned radially inwardly and a second press position. The guide unit provides a first pressing force transmitted into the first press surface and from the first press jaw to the second press jaw. The first press surface stamps a first stamped indentation and the second press surface stamps a second stamped indentation into the crimp sleeve to crimp the crimp sleeve on the electrical line.

  • Patent number: 11777299
Abstract: A method for manufacturing a wiring system includes providing an electric cable having an electric conductor and a contact element with a termination portion, and removing a cable insulation in a first sub-portion of the electric cable. The cable insulation remains on the electric conductor in a second sub-portion of the electric cable offset from the first sub-portion. The electric conductor is welded at the first sub-portion to a termination surface of the termination portion. The first sub-portion is pressed against the termination portion and compressed during welding. A holding device encompasses the second sub-portion at least partially. The holding device supports the second sub-portion at least during the welding and compressing of the first sub-portion and maintains a position of the second sub-portion.

  • Publication number: 20210226355
Abstract: An arrangement includes an electric cable having a first electric conductor and a contact device having a crimp barrel and a contact element mechanically and electrically connected to the crimp barrel. The crimp barrel extends along an axis and has a first inner circumferential side and a first outer circumferential side. A first impress and a second impress are stamped into a first sub-portion of the crimp barrel, the second impress is offset circumferentially from the first impress with respect to the axis. The first inner circumferential side is shaped by the first impress and the second impress in such a manner that the first inner circumferential side is pressed against a second outer circumferential side of the first electric conductor and electrically contacts the second outer circumferential side, with the first inner circumferential side fitting against the second outer circumferential side.

  • Publication number: 20210175641
Abstract: A fabric-contact device includes a first contact section having a first contact face on a first upper side, a second contact section having a second contact face on an underside facing the first contact section, and a retaining device. The first contact face faces the second contact section and the first contact section is connected to the second contact section on a first side of the first contact section. The retaining device has a first retaining element connected to a second side of the first contact section at a first fixed end. The first retaining element is guided laterally past the second contact section by a first section of the first retaining element bordering the first fixed end. A second section of the first retaining element bordering the first section on a side opposite the first fixed end engages behind the second contact section and affixes the second contact section to the first contact section.
