    Abstract: A moisture removing apparatus for removing moisture from a wiper cover on a carrier plate of a cleaning device, including a wringing gap into which the carrier plate with the wiper cover is insertable and at least one pivotably mounted scraper in the wringing gap configured to scrape off the moisture from the wiper cover. The at least one scraper is configured to be pivoted back and forth between a wringing position narrowing the wringing gap and a position widening the wringing gap. The moisture removing apparatus further includes means for automatically returning the at least one scraper to the wringing position after deflection into a position widening the wringing gap, wherein the means include at least one lever arm that engages on the at least one scraper and exerts a restoring torque on the at least one scraper driven by gravitational force.
