  • Patent number: 11852237
Abstract: An electro-mechanical actuator for generating an axial actuation force is provided. The electro-mechanical actuator includes an electric machine having a stator (1) and a rotor (2). The electro-mechanical actuator also includes a spindle drive with a rotary element (6) and with an element that is movable in a translatory manner. A rotation of the rotary element (6) may result in a translatory motion of the element that is movable in a translatory manner. The rotor (2) and the rotary element (6) of the spindle drive are coupled to each other in a circumferential direction (U) such that a rotation of the rotor (2) results in a rotation of the rotary element (6) of the spindle drive (5). A rotational play (8) is formed between the rotor (2) and the rotary element (6) of the spindle drive in the circumferential direction (U).

  • Publication number: 20190359255
Abstract: A steering device for a vehicle, having an actuator which is designed to apply an axial force to a push rod. The push rod is connected to a respective steering rod on both sides in an articulated manner, and each steering rod is connected to a respective steering arm in an articulated manner. Each steering arm is operatively connected to a respective wheel carrier in order to rotate a respective wheel of a vehicle axle about a respective steering axis according to an axial movement of the push rod and has at least one first and a second arm section. The two arm sections of each steering arm can be moved towards each other in an axial direction in order to change a transmission ratio of the steering device when the wheels are being steered and to reduce the axial force on the actuator.

  • Publication number: 20190283801
Abstract: A steering device for a vehicle, having an actuator, which is provided to exert an axial force on a push rod. The push rod is pivotally connected to respective coupling rods on both sides. The respective coupling rods are pivotally connected to respective deflection levers. The respective deflection levers are pivotally connected to respective tie rods. The respective tie rods are pivotally connected to respective steering levers which are being operatively connected to respective hub carriers to steer respective wheels of a vehicle axle in accordance with axial movement of the push rod. The deflection levers alter a transmission ratio between the push rod and the respective tie rods to lower the axial force at the actuator.

  • Patent number: 7744155
Abstract: The protection system is used especially for the protection against a fatal effect of vertical accelerations triggered by a landmine on the passengers of an armored vehicle. For this, the sitting unit consisting of a seat body (7) and a backrest (8) is held movable in vertical direction and is coupled with an end area (15) of a longitudinally variable damping device (11), whose other end (13) is connected to the roof (4) of the vehicle (2) through a carrying equipment (6). In addition, the sitting unit is carried with vertical distance from the vertical guide (18) in a lower guide path (19) transversally directed so that the sitting unit executes both a downward as well as a tilting movement relative to the vehicle together with a passenger (3) during loading through vertical acceleration. In this way, an improved usage of the constructively limited effective length of the damping device (11) occurs so that the effect of the protection system is essentially improved.
