  • Publication number: 20250055068
Abstract: An inter-cell cooling device for arrangement in an intermediate space between two battery cells arranged adjacent to one another in a stacking direction. The inter-cell cooling device has a first side wall with a first outer side for arrangement on a first cell side and a second side wall opposite the first side wall with respect to a first direction and with a second outer side for arrangement on a second cell side, as well as a heating device designed as a heating layer for heating the inter-cell cooling device. With respect to the first direction, at least one cooling channel through which a coolant can flow is formed between the first and second side wall as part of the central inter-cell cooling region of the inter-cell cooling device, and the heating layer is designed to heat a coolant located in the at least one cooling channel.

  • Publication number: 20250007036
Abstract: An inter-cell cooling unit for arrangement a battery module for arrangement in an intermediate space between twin an intermediate space between two battery cells of a cell stack which are arranged adjacent to one another in a stacking direction. The inter-cell cooling unit has two cooling walls including a first cooling wall for arrangement on a first of the two battery cells and a second cooling wall for arrangement on a second of the two battery cells. At least one free space through which a coolant can flow is formed between the first and second cooling walls. At least one first opening is arranged in at least one of the two cooling walls, through which first opening a fluidic connection is provided between the at least one free space and an environment of the inter-cell cooling unit.

  • Publication number: 20240339651
Abstract: A cell separation element for arrangement in an intermediate space between two battery cells. The cell separation element is designed to be at least partially elastically compressible with respect to a first direction. The cell separation element has a first corrugated structural wall with a corrugated structure. When the cell separation element is arranged as intended in the intermediate space, a first side surface of the corrugated structural wall faces a first of the two battery cells and a second side surface of the corrugated structural wall faces a second of the two battery cells. The structural wall is designed to provide a restoring force when the cell separation element is compressed with respect to the first direction.

  • Publication number: 20230327235
Abstract: A cooling device for an energy store for cooling a cell group on both sides, having a first cooling unit for a first side of the cell group and a second cooling unit for an opposite second side of the cell group. The first cooling unit includes a first cooling area associated with the cell group, which is divided into a first and second sub-area in relation to a second direction, and the second cooling unit includes a second cooling area associated with the cell group, which is divided into a third and fourth sub-area in relation to the second direction. The first sub-area is opposite the third sub-area and the second sub-area is opposite the fourth sub-area, and the first and fourth sub-areas are located closer to an at least one supply port of a distributor arrangement of the cooling device than the second and third sub-areas.
