Abstract: A functional unit for carrying out logical test cases on a test system interconnected to a unit that is to be tested, the functional unit being suitable for being interconnected between the logical test cases and the test system in such a way that the logical test cases are decoupled from the test system, and, in this context, for supporting an execution of the logical test cases on the test system as mediator.

Abstract: A data transfer control device issues a session key identifying an application running on a user terminal. Then the device specifies a first database as a transfer destination of data input into a common data field for the first and a second database and outputs the data to an application process together with a session key. The device then inputs the data in the common data field together with the session key from the application process and updates the first database. After that, the device retrieves and outputs the data requested by the application process from the updated first database.

Abstract: A device for muffling the sound produced by a fluid in a duct, especially the sound produced in an intake pipe of a combustion engine, comprises a wall, whose inside defines a flow passage for the fluid. The device is at least partly tubular, i.e. it has two openings. At the outside of the wall (3) is arranged a plurality of chambers (4), each of which is connected to the flow passage via an aperture (7). The chambers (4) are bounded by the outside of the wall (3) as well as by bars (5, 6, 8) formed at the outside of the wall (3). The chambers (4) function in use as Helmholtz resonators. In addition, a device for the conduction of a fluid with the sound proofing device (1) described is presented.

Abstract: This bid controlling system includes an item display control table having display codes assigned to respective items. The display codes are associated with an estimation classification and a bid participant classification, showing an estimation format of a bid target and showing a display state of a plurality of items that are needed for bidding. By using this table, a display screen for bid participants is generated which performs display processing of a plurality of items corresponding to conditions.
