    Abstract: The invention relates to a projection method for an automation system, in addition to a device which is used to project an automation system. In order to simplify the projection of an automation system, projection data for at least one component (10, 10 12,14) of the automation system is combined in an information object (30,40). The projection data comprises at least HMI data (20,22,24,32,42) and control data (16, 18,34,44) for the components (10,12,14).
