  • Publication number: 20160061199
Abstract: A hose pump is provided having an elastically deformable hose (3) for a medium (7) to be conveyed, and a hose bed (2), over which the hose (3) is guided. Furthermore, at least one squeeze element (6) is provided that is movable along the hose bed (2), for deforming the hose (3) on the hose bed (2) in order to this way move forward the medium (7) inside the hose (3). The hose bed (2) is provided at least partially with a friction-reducing coating (8).

  • Patent number: 8959935
Abstract: A freezing microtome for the production of microscopable thin sections of tissue samples (60), comprising a cooling device (24, 34, 36, 38, 40, 42, 46, 48, 50, 52) for freezing the tissue samples (60), a cutting device for cutting the frozen tissue samples (60) and a working chamber, in which the cutting device and at least a part of the cooling device (24, 34, 36, 38, 40, 42, 46, 48, 50, 52) are arranged is described. The part of the cooling device (24, 34, 36, 38, 40, 42, 46, 48, 50, 52) arranged in the working chamber contains a liquid coolant (70), in which the tissue samples (60) can be inserted for freezing.

  • Patent number: 6324857
Abstract: A laboratory thermostat (1) has a bath container (2) for liquid (3) to be tempered as well as a heating device and a refrigerating unit (4). The refrigerating cycle of the refrigerating unit (4) has a compressor (5), a condenser (6), an evaporator (8), as well as an expansion valve (7) controlled by a temperature sensor (10) arranged at the evaporator outlet. In addition, a regulation device (11) is also provided which is connected to a temperature actual value sensor (12) for recording the bath temperature. So that the temperature of the bath liquid can be adjusted to various values and regulated, the temperature sensor (10) of the expansion valve (7) is in thermal contact with a tempering apparatus controlled by the regulating device (11). The extent of the tempering is determined by the regulation device (11) according to the adjusted bath temperature output and the bath temperature measured by the temperature actual value sensor.
