Abstract: A pigment mixture comprising at least two or three interference pigments of different interference colours selected from the colours red, green and blue, suitable for use in paints, coatings, printing inks, security printing inks, plastics, ceramic materials, glasses and in the preparation of pigment preparations, dry preparations and in particular cosmetic formulations.

Abstract: The method for simultaneously dyeing and permanent shaping of hair includes winding hair strands onto curlers; mixing a dye component (B) containing 1 to 10 percent by weight of one or more dye compound and an amount of a keratin-reducing substance with a shaping component (A) containing from 6 to 15% by weight of the keratin-reducing substance in a weight ratio of from about 1:1 to 1:10 to form a dyeing and shaping composition, which necessarily contains from 5 to 18% by weight of the keratin-reducing substance; then allowing the hair with the dyeing and shaping composition to act on the hair for an acting time sufficient for permanent shaping; after that, allowing a fixing composition to act on the hair for 1 to 40 minutes and then subsequently rinsing the hair. The dye component (B) contains 4,5-diaminopyrazole derivatives and certain aminophenol derivatives.

Abstract: The composition for dyeing keratin fibers is mixed with water prior to use and contains from 35 to 75 percent by weight of at least one powdery vegetable dye material; from 25 to 65 percent by weight of at least one oil; and from 0.001 to 15 percent by weight of a physiologically unobjectionable nitro dye compound, azo dye compound, quinone dye compound and/or a triphenylmethane dye compound. A method of dyeing hair using this composition is also described.

Abstract: In a process for making ferrous sulphate in granule form, ferrous sulphate heptahydrate is mixed with fine-grain brown coal or lignite having a low water content, in such an amount that the resulting mixture is pourable.

Abstract: In order to improve the handling capability of red mud, it is mixed with fine-grain coal material such as brown coal or lignite in dust form, in a ratio by weight of between 0.5-10:1. The liquid present in the red mud is bound by the very fine coal admixed therewith so that the resulting mixture can be stored in a silo and even pneumatically conveyed, and the oily properties of the red mud are removed by the treatment. The mixture is particularly suitable for use in connection with the hydrogenating liquefaction of coal in which the red mud is used as a catalyst.
