  • Patent number: 7868259
Abstract: A device has a housing (1) with a frame element (8) which is arranged within the housing (1). The frame element (8) accommodates at least one component and has at least one bending arm (12). The bending arm (12) is designed such that a contact region (36) of the bending arm (12) bears with prestress against a contact region (38) of a wall (34) of the housing (1) in a mounted state within the housing (1). The bending arm (12) is cohesively connected to the housing (1) by means of transmission laser welding by supplying a laser beam (46) of prespecified wavelength to the device in such a way that the laser beam is transmitted through the housing (1) to the contact region (36) of the bending arm (12). At least one region of the housing (1), through which region the laser beam is transmitted, is produced from a material which is transparent to the prespecified wavelength of the laser beam (46).

  • Publication number: 20040025622
Abstract: The invention relates to a pedal system for a motor vehicle comprising a displacement sensor. Said sensor is used for determining the angular position of a foot pedal (1) and is provided as an inductive sensor which comprises a stationary coil part (3) and a metal part (4) that is displaced with the foot pedal (1). The distance of the metal part (4) from the coil part (3) alters the electric relationships from which corresponding measured values can be derived. This results in reducing the production complexity of the pedal system and in improving the functional reliability of the sensor.

  • Publication number: 20030112023
Abstract: The invention relates to a mechanical-electrical transducer having a bridge circuit formed on an insulation layer through an electrical interconnection of expansion-sensitive thick-film resistors by means of conductor tracks. The insulation layer is arranged directly on a metallic component that is to be mechanically loaded, and being intimately connected to said component by means of a thermal process. In this case, in the event of mechanical stressing of the component, an electrical signal corresponding to the expansion of the thick-film resistors can be tapped off. In order that the mechanical-electrical transducer exhibits a small electrical offset in the output signal in the event of mechanical loading, the metallic component to be loaded comprises a thermally post-hardening metal or a thermally post-hardening metal alloy.
