  • Patent number: 12259305
Abstract: A laboratory mill is shown and described with at least one oscillatably mounted grinding bowl holder for at least one grinding bowl and with at least one line for transporting a liquid or gaseous medium, the line having at least one compensating element for compensating relative movements between the grinding bowl holder and/or the grinding bowl and a stationary part of the laboratory mill. In accordance with the invention, a rigid compensating element is provided for compensating relative movements, wherein the compensating element is elastically deformed at least in regions during an oscillating movement of the grinding bowl holder and wherein the compensation of relative movements is effected free of parts of the compensating element connected to one another so as to be movable, in particular rotatable and/or pivotable, relative to one another and only by elastic deformation of the compensating element.

  • Patent number: 11719605
Abstract: The invention shows and describes a vibration mill for at least two grinding beakers performing vibrations in the horizontal position, with at least one multi-part pendulum drive, wherein the pendulum drive has at least one eccentric shaft mounted to rotate about a vertical eccentric axis, and at least two rockers each mounted so as to be capable of vibrating about a vertical vibration axis and connected by means of couplers to the eccentric shaft, said rockers holding the grinding beakers. The pendulum drive further has a motor unit coupled to the eccentric shaft as a drive for the eccentric shaft and optionally further components, wherein a rotary movement of the eccentric shaft via the couplers can be converted into a vibrating movement of the rockers. According to the invention, the centre of gravity of the pendulum drive in a horizontal centre of gravity plane is substantially equidistant from both vibration axes.

  • Publication number: 20230065817
Abstract: A device module for a laboratory device is shown and described. The device module has at least one temperature control medium connection for connecting the device module, as required, to a temperature control medium supply of, in particular, a liquid or gaseous temperature control medium, at least one line connection for connecting, as required, to at least one supply line of the laboratory device for the temperature control medium, and at least one actuator of a control process and/or control loop for controlling and/or regulating at least one temperature in the laboratory device.

  • Patent number: 6258930
Abstract: The use of multi-well blocks with more than 10 wells is suggested for breaking down biological samples in a ball mill, wherein the process which is to be carried out provides that the biological sample, disposed in a multi-well block with more than 10 wells, is broken down in a ball mill and that following this, proteins and/or nucleic acids are isolated. With the ball mill necessary for this task, with milling containers fixed thereto in a holder (10), the milling containers are designed as uniform well blocks (16) and can be fixed in a form-locking manner into the adapted, twist-preventing holder (10).
