Patent number: 11784539Abstract: The disclosure relates to an assembly comprising a component rotatable about a rotary axis for an actuating drive comprising a sensor element attached to the rotatable component. The rotatable component has a support surface from which a fixing element protrudes in parallel to the rotary axis. The sensor element includes an opening. The sensor element is arranged on the support surface in such a manner that the fixing element penetrates the opening. A surface of the sensor element adjacent to the opening has a structure. A top portion of the fixing element is in interlocking engagement with the structure so that the attached sensor element is connected to the component in a torque-resistant manner.Type: GrantFiled: November 23, 2021Date of Patent: October 10, 2023Assignee: Minebea Mitsumi Inc.Inventors: Giovanni Biancuzzi, Felix Blaser, Uwe Schäfer, Michael Bruckhoff

Patent number: 8556037Abstract: A lubricating nipple (1) to be pressed into a bore (5) of a bearing bush (7) of a universal joint has a housing with a flow-through channel (22) to receive a lubricant. A check valve (25, 26, 27) is arranged in the through-flow channel (22). A seat portion (3) positions the lubricating nipple (1) in the bore (5) in the mounted condition. A coupling portion (2) couples the lubricating nipple (1) to a lubricating device. The coupling portion (2) has a first abutment face (10) that faces the seat portion (3). The mounted lubricating nipple (1), in the pressing-in direction, is axially supported by the first abutment face (10) against the thin-walled component (7). A collar portion (4) has a second abutment face (12). The second abutment face (12) is arranged opposite to the first abutment face (10). The mounted lubricant nipple (1) can be axially supported by the second abutment face (12) against the thin-walled component (7).Type: GrantFiled: August 27, 2010Date of Patent: October 15, 2013Assignee: GKN Walterscheid GmbHInventors: Alexander Penner, Uwe Schäfer

Patent number: 6236131Abstract: An improved, multi-strand design of a transverse flux machine with unilateral stator and rotor, with essentially U-shaped yokes (6) and I-shaped yokes (3) in the stator, as well as a rotor with permanent magnets (5) that are attached planar and a circular back iron (4). The bending of the U-shaped yokes (6) at a right angle results in a considerable reduction of the leakage paths. A joint use of the stator yoke by several strands results in a considerable increase in the torque density, as compared to known embodiments. The direct cooling of winding and stator iron makes it possible to have a machine design with considerably reduced eddy current losses.Type: GrantFiled: March 29, 2000Date of Patent: May 22, 2001Assignee: DaimlerChrysler Rail Systems GmbHInventor: Uwe Schafer
