  • Patent number: 11437872
Abstract: An electric machine includes an annular stator and a rotor disposed within the stator. The stator has a plurality of stator segments in the circumferential direction and a stator winding applied to a winding support. Each stator segment has lateral cutouts in the circumferential direction. In each case a winding support having a toroidally applied stator winding is introduced into lateral cutouts, which are adjacent in the circumferential direction, of adjacent stator segments. The radial outer side of the stator winding is partially surrounded by stator segment outer arms of mutually adjacent stator segments in such a way that a radially directed outer gap is formed between the stator segment outer arms of the two mutually adjacent stator segments.

  • Patent number: 10630154
Abstract: A method for winding a plurality of coil bodies for the production of electric motors using a segmented spindle. According to the method, a number of coil bodies are coupled to at least one intermediate part and two end parts to form a segmented spindle, and the segmented spindle is arranged in/on a winding machine. In this way, the coil bodies are wound in a synchronized manner. As a result, only a rotatable spindle is required for the winding of a number of coil bodies.

  • Patent number: 9882457
Abstract: A method for producing a round stator includes: inserting wound pole teeth into an insertion section of a rolling device to form a pole tooth row, pushing the pole tooth row into a ring section of the rolling device, which ring section reproduces a round end shape of the stator to form a round stator structure, removing the round stator structure from the rolling device while holding the stator structure together, and processing the stator structure further to form a finished stator unit.

  • Patent number: 9502948
Abstract: A method for producing stator pole teeth includes: arranging stator pole teeth to be wound in the form of a row, each of the stator pole teeth having at least one insulation body; winding one pole tooth or several pole teeth of the row of stator pole teeth; routing winding wire or winding wires out of a winding space in the pole teeth to the outside of the stator pole teeth into a laying space bounded on one side by insulation bodies of the pole teeth; and laying the winding wire or the winding wires in the laying space to connect individual pole teeth to one another. During laying of the winding wire or wires, the laying space is temporarily constricted such that the winding wires are forcibly automatically axially stacked in the laying space so as to avoid wire crossovers.

  • Patent number: 8704421
Abstract: A spool carrier has a winding body with a shell having a trapezoidal cross section with two substantially right angles and one acute angle, wherein the spool wire is guided on the obtuse angle edge of the winding body, beginning parallel to the front face edges of the winding body, along the side surface adjoining the obtuse angle edge, around the winding body, to the acute angle edge of the winding body, and guided on the front face from the acute to the obtuse angle edge at an angle to the front face edge, such that it comes to rest on the obtuse angle edge in one winding step directly adjacent to the winding wire of the previous winding, and in one winding step in the next adjacent groove between two windings of the previous layer, or optionally between the flange and the winding of the previous layer.
