  • Publication number: 20250199029
Abstract: A sensor system is made up of a hermetically sealed housing, which is formed with a base plate, a carrier structure arranged in the interior of the housing, and a cover element, made of the same ceramic material. One or more sensor units are arranged on each of a plurality of walls of the carrier structure, the base plate and/or the cover element. The cover element is connected in a hermetically sealed manner to the base plate and/or carrier structure by way of an integral bond. Walls of the carrier structure are oriented in the interior of the housing, on which at least one sensor unit is arranged and which each at predefined angles with respect to one another, having a maximum angular deviation of 2°, preferably no more than 1°. They comprise a smooth planar surface. The sensor units are electrically conductively connected to one another and to the outside by means of electrical conductors.

  • Publication number: 20240262032
Abstract: A component is produced by depositing at least one material in the form of droplets. The droplets are arranged next to and/or on top of each other in layers, where the surface is smoothed after the deposition of individual droplets with a laser beam so that material is removed at elevations and/or the viscosity and/or the surface tension of the respective material is reduced in the area around depressions with the laser beam so that a flow for at least partial filling of depressions is achieved to reduce surface roughness. A locally defined material removal can be carried out alone or in addition to this to set surface properties or form structures whose dimensions are below the resolution capacity of the additive process, as the deposited droplets have a larger diameter, and then curing, melting, debinding and/or sintering is carried out to complete the respective component.

  • Publication number: 20240165871
Abstract: The invention relates to a process for manufacturing a monolithic part, wherein different surface topologies are created in specifically selected regions in order to create different surface properties, in particular with respect to a wetting behavior, a deposition behavior and/or a colonization with cells.

  • Publication number: 20170182554
Abstract: The invention relates to a method of manufacturing ceramic and/or metallic components in which a support structure surrounding at least one free space is formed using a polymer and in which at least one free space is filled in at least one predefinable portion with a plastically deformable or liquid mixture of least one metal powder or ceramic powder and at least one organic binder. In this respect, the mixture contacts the wall of the structure at least in part. Subsequently, in a first thermal treatment, the mixture is transformed into a state having a sufficient strength for maintaining its geometrical shape and a temperature is observed in so doing at which the polymer forming the support structure remains stable in shape. Subsequently, in a second thermal treatment, the temperature is increased and in so doing the polymer forming the support structure is completely decomposed and the metal powder and/or ceramic powder is/are sintered.

  • Publication number: 20130106245
Abstract: The invention relates to fiber-reinforced composites acting as an actuator, as a sensor and/or as a generator and to a manufacturing process. It is the object of the invention to provide such fiber-reinforced composites which can be manufactured simply and reliably and which are securely fastened and exactly positioned as elements acting as actuators, generators and/or sensors. In a fiber-reinforced composite in accordance with the invention, at least one piezoelectric element is fixed and positioned by fibers or yarn within a fiber structure or by means of fibers or yarn to a fiber structure. Flexible, electrically conductive connections which can be contacted from outside the fiber-reinforced composite are led at and/or within the fiber structure to electric connector contacts of the at least one piezoelectric element. One or more piezoelectric elements, electrically conductive connections and the fiber structure are embedded in a matrix material.
