  • Publication number: 20120177557
Abstract: The invention relates to a process for treating a substantially water-containing amino-functional, polymeric catalyst precursor while retaining the inner porous structure thereof and the outer spherical form thereof to form a catalyst, in which the catalyst precursor is treated at mild temperatures and under reduced pressure to prepare a catalyst having a water content below 2.5% by weight. The process is preferably integrated into an industrial scale process for preparing dichlorosilane, monosilane, silane, or solar silicon or semiconductor silicon from silanes.

  • Patent number: 7328937
Abstract: The invention relates to a trunk of a motor vehicle, having a goods rail (14) which is oriented approximately in the direction of the longitudinal axis (L) of the vehicle and is intended for fixing goods to be transported. In the event of a rear impact, penetration into a seat region arranged in front of the trunk is prevented by reducing the effective of the goods rail (14), by the goods rail (14) being composed of at least two partial rails (15, 16). According to the invention, the separating plane (17) between the partial rails (15, 16) runs in an obliquely inclined manner.

  • Patent number: 6445276
Abstract: A fuse apparatus (1) is provided for selectively interrupting a load current (Ia) flowing between a pair of associated conductor leads. The fuse apparatus includes at least two spaced apart electrically conductive contact elements (5) operatively connected with the associated conductor leads. A fuse element (7) is connected to the contact elements (5) using an electrically conductive connection material (9) to allow the current (Ia) to flow between the pair of associated conductor leads. The connection material (9) is adapted to electrically disconnect the fuse element (7) from the contact elements (5) when the current (Ia) exceeds a predetermined current intensity. The connection material (9) has an intrinsic electrical transition resistance characteristic whereby the material develops a temperature in proportion to an intensity of the current. The connection material melts as the current increases to separate the fuse element from the contact elements.

  • Patent number: 5806986
Abstract: The linear guide system is formed by a tubular body (2) which, internally, has at least three and preferably four guide tracks (33-36, 42, 43) formed, for example, as steel rails (33-36) inserted in an aluminum extrusion which forms the guide body. A slit (7) extends through the outside of the guide body (2); within the guide body, a portion (8) of a carriage is located, which portion includes two bearing elements (11) on either side, formed with two outer tracks (14, 15) for a group of balls (10) to run on the bearing (9) formed by the tracks in the guide body (2) and on the bearing elements (11). To return the balls, upon motion of the carriage, ball return guide elements (24, 25) are located on both ends of the bearing elements (11), and so arranged that they take balls from an upper track (14) and pass them through a duct (16) near the bottom of the bearing element (11).

  • Patent number: 5778758
Abstract: To reliably seal an elongated slit (8) passing through an essentially tubular guide body (6) against contamination by dirt, machine cutting chips and the like, while permitting passage of a movable projecting element through the slit, a cover tape (14) is placed over the slit, but removable therefrom. The cover tape (14) is locked to the guide body (6) by a releasable locking arrangement which includes interengaging, interlocking projection (26) and recess (35) means, located at the sides of the tape (14) on the guide body (6), respectively. The projection means is formed by a headed elongated rib (27), preferably located on the guide body, and the recess means (35) are formed by a groove between a pair of laterally deflectable lips (36, 37), which can snap over the head portion (28) of the rib for positive engagement, while requiring only little force to lift them off the head portion.
