Abstract: The invention relates to a fluid to pasty, phosphate-free washing agent, containing, based on the washing agent, (A) a tenside component of 20 to 35% w/w which comprises (A1) 1 to 4% w/w of anionic tensides of the class of sulphonates and soaps, (A2) 16 to 34% w/w non-ionic tensides with a setting point of, at the highest, 10.degree. C., (B) 10 to 35% w/w builder salts which are either complexing or which bind alkaline earth metal ions, (C) 15 to 40% w/w sodium metasilicate, (D) 8 to 25% w/w bleaching per-salts, (E) up to 15% w/w other washing agent ingredients, (F) less than 3% w/w water, with the proviso that the sum of components B+C=30 to 60% w/w.

Abstract: A paste-form, non-phosphate detergent which is particularly suitable for the washing of heavily soiled working apparel and which generates no troublesome foam essentially contains (A) 1 to 3% by weight sodium alkyl benzene sulfonate having linear C.sub.9-13 alkyl chains, (B) 14 to 18% by weight of a linear or 2-methyl-branched, saturated, primary C.sub.12-15 alcohol containing 2 to 4 ethylene glycol ether groups, (C) 12 to 16% by weight of a linear or 2-methyl-branched, saturated, primary C.sub.12-15 alcohol containing 6 to 8 ethylene glycol ether groups, (D) 50 to 65% by weight sodium silicate having the composition Na.sub.2 O:SiO.sub.2 =1:0.8 to 1:1.5, (E) 2 to 8% by weight, based on sodium salt, of at least one complexing agent from the group consisting of nitrilotriacetic acid and polyphosphonic acids, (F) 0.5 to 2.

Abstract: A unit consisting of a cartridge provided with a base plate displaceable under pressure is used for the program-controlled dosing of paste-form detergents. The orifice of the cartridge leads into the dispensing compartment of the washing machine, more particularly into the region of a spray jet or into a region of high turbulence of the inflowing water. The detergent paste consists of nonionic surfactants liquid at temperature below 10.degree. C. or mixtures thereof and, suspended therein, builder salts and washing alkalis having a particle size in the range from 5 to 40 .mu.m.

Abstract: A machine washing process with process-controlled dosing of water and detergent using a paste-form, phosphate-reduced or phosphate-free detergent which is substantially free from water, organic solvents and hydrotropic compounds. The paste comprises a phase liquid at a temperature below 10.degree. C. and contains a nonionic surfactant selected from the group of polyglycolether compounds and of a solid phase dispersed therein in which the particles have a mean particle size of from 5 to 40 .mu.m and less than 5% of the particles have a particle size larger than 80 .mu.m, the solid phase comprising washing alkalis, sequestering compounds and other detergent constituents and, optionally, anionic surfactants. Under the control of a process-control computer, the paste is taken from a storage container, delivered to a mixer and diluted therein with water to at least such an extent that the formation of a gel phase is avoided.

Abstract: A detergent composition which is distinguished by high detergency with respect to soil containing mineral oil and by low foaming both in the wash cycle and in the rinse cycle of automatic washing machines comprising (A) from 0.5 to 2% by weight C.sub.9 -C.sub.13 alkyl benezenesulfonate, (B) from 10 to 15% by weight of a fatty alcohol or oxo alcohol containing 2 to 4 ethylene oxide groups, (C) from 4 to 8% by weight of a fatty alcohol or oxo alcohol containing 6 to 8 ethylene oxide groups, the alcohols in (C) and (D) containing 12 to 15 carbon atoms, (E) from 0 to 2% by weight of a saturated or mono-unsaturated C.sub.16 -C.sub.18 alcohol containing 3 to 7 ethylene oxide groups, (E) from 5 to 20% by weight finely-divided crystalline zeolite, (F) from 40 to 60% by weight anhydrous sodium carbonate, (G) from 2 to 7% by weight sodium silicate and (H) from 0.5 to 2% by weight of a polymeric soil redeposition inhibitor.

Abstract: Powder-form washing and cleaning agents which can be made up into stock liquors containing in addition to synthetic surfactants and ingredients such as alkali carbonates, alkali silicates, alkali sulfates, water-soluble, organic or inorganic complexing agents, (a) from 10 to 40% by weight of finely particulate zeolites of the NaA or NaX type or mixtures thereof and (b) from 0.5 to 2.5% by weight of xanthan gum as dispersant in a ratio by weight of a:b of from 5:1 to 25:1 for the preparation of approximately 10% by weight aqueous stable stock liquor suspensions.

Abstract: An agent for disinfecting stalls based on phenol or phenol derivatives, having a disinfecting action, and a solvent which penetrates the membranes of the parasitic spores, wherein a combination of perchloroethylene and a monohydroxy alcohol having 2 to 4 carbon atoms is used as said solvent.
