Patent number: 6578480Abstract: For printing machines furnished with a Direct Imaging system for preparation of printing plates there is designed an equipment, comprising an auxiliary drive unit (23) coupled with the plate cylinder (1), which is coupled with the gear wheel assembly by disenagageable coupling means. In the preferred embodiment the plate cylinder (1) is at one end accommodated in a bearing (27) of a print unit side wall (4) by means of a carrier (3) which is axially shiftable seated at the neck (2) of the plate cylinder (1) and is in a direct engagement with the plate cylinder (1). The carrier (3) is further by means of a belt drive coupled with an auxiliary drive unit (23) and by an electrically operated clutch (7) with an output wheel (6) of the gear wheel assembly. In another preferred embodiment the plate cylinder (1) is furnished with a mechanism for angular displacement and a mechanism for axial shift.Type: GrantFiled: October 15, 2001Date of Patent: June 17, 2003Assignee: Adamovske Strojirny, A.S.Inventors: Miloslav Kone{haeck over (c)}ný, Václav Sedlák, Pavel Zourek

Patent number: 5040458Abstract: A device which performs the lifting and throw-off of an impression cylinder in a printing machine, comprises a first supporting pin (1) which carries a gate (2) that is provided with a run-out path (4) and stop (3). Upon disengagement of the impressional forces, the stop is in engagement with a first projection (6) on a first catch (7), which is swingably mounted on a second supporting pin (15), fixed in a side plate (16) of the machine. A connecting tie rod (9) is fastened to the first catch (7) by a pin (8), and another end of the connecting tie rod (9) is connected, by a second pin (10) to a second catch (11), mounted slightly turnably on a basic pin (28). The second catch is provided with a second projection (12), which becomes engaged with stop (3) of gate (2), upon engagement of impressional forces, and against the run-out path (4) which bears against an operating roller (13 ) of a driver (14).Type: GrantFiled: December 12, 1990Date of Patent: August 20, 1991Assignee: Adamovske StrojirnyInventors: Jaroslav Jiruse, Vaclav Sedlak, Vladimir Drlik, Alois Sebela, Frantisek Cipek

Patent number: 4590858Abstract: Mechanism for the control of an inker unit, particularly on an accessory device for the numbering of sheets, for additional printing, and for the perforation of sheets on a printing machine. The mechanism provides an automatic control of the inker unit as well as a manual control thereof, and provides for the disengagement of the inker unit out of the working position in such a way as to form a convenient working space in the area around the numbering roller. On an eccentric shaft, which is arranged in the side walls of the printing machine, there are attached connecting levers which are slidably arranged on a carrier shaft which is provided with carriers which are rigidly connected with guides. On the guides there is adjustably arranged an accessory device including an inker unit, there being provided openings in the connecting levers in which are arranged slide elements which are located on pivots which are fixed in the side walls of the printing machine.Type: GrantFiled: December 6, 1984Date of Patent: May 27, 1986Assignee: ZVS Adamovske strojirny, koncernovy podnikInventors: Vaclav Sedlak, Josef Jurny, Vaclav Luner

Patent number: 4538513Abstract: Mechanism for the control of printing pressures in a printing machine, particularly the printing pressures exerted by accessory devices such as a unit for the numbering of the printing articles. A single mechanism controls the single functions of the printing mechanism, such as the bringing into pressure engagement and the disengagement of the printing cylinders, the control of the inking unit, the control of the numbering device, and also possibly of other mechanisms. Around the circumference of a double-cam, there are arranged a plurality of two-arm levers. A first two-arm lever, which is pivotally arranged on a fixed, pivot pin is connected by means of a first pull rod with the mechanism of the inker unit. A second two-arm lever is journalled on a second fixed pivot, the second two-arm lever being connected by means of a second pull rod with a mechanism for imposing printing pressure and releasing such printing pressure.Type: GrantFiled: November 8, 1984Date of Patent: September 3, 1985Assignee: ZVS Adamovske strojirny, koncernovy podnikInventors: Vaclav Sedlak, Jaroslav Jiruse

Patent number: 4336930Abstract: The invention relates to a sheet transfer device, for offset printing machines which print on one side of the sheet or on both sides of the sheet of paper, having a means for adjustment to accommodate sheets of different sizes, achieving thereby an accurate register printing. The feature of the device according to the invention is a reset wheel of the sheet transfer drum which is adjustably mounted on a centering flange, on rollers rotatably mounted on eccentric pins mounted in the centering flange. The centering flange has rotatably mounted eccentrics, which bear on carrying projections of the transfer drum body, while the transfer drum reset wheel is fastened to the flange. The clearance between the reset wheel and the flange centering diameter is adjusted by eccentric pins, while at the same time the reset wheel is centered so that its gearing is precisely centered with the transfer drum axis. The clearance of the toothing of the reset wheel is taken up by take-up segments.Type: GrantFiled: October 15, 1980Date of Patent: June 29, 1982Assignee: Adamovske strojirny, narodni podnikInventors: Arnost Cerny, Jiri Fiser, Jaroslav Jiruse, Vaclav Sedlak
