  • Publication number: 20230385545
Abstract: A method for analyzing a digital message for presence of a non-compliant expression within the digital message is disclosed. The digital message may be created using a computing device including a text input hardware device and may contain at least one segment. The method includes capturing keystrokes at the text input hardware device, analyzing the keystrokes to capture the digital message including an end of the segment, and assessing the segment for presence of a concept flag in at the segment, wherein the concept flag is associated with the non-compliant expression. Assessing may include obtaining a relation pattern for the concept flag, generating a dependency parse graph for the segment, and comparing the dependency parse graph to the relation pattern. If at least a portion of the dependency parse graph matches the relation pattern, then concluding that the segment contains the concept flag associated with the non-compliant expression.

  • Patent number: 10305831
Abstract: This disclosure describes systems, methods, and apparatus for precluding transmission of messages that breach one or more compliance or legal framework. In particular, messages, whether digital, written, or verbal, can be stopped from leaving a device on which they are created, thereby preventing non-compliant messages from reaching intermediary servers that could constitute a compliance violation even if the message never reached a recipient.

  • Patent number: 10120859
Abstract: This disclosure describes systems, methods, and apparatus for generating a computer response to an incoming message. Incoming messages can be analyzed to determine a sentiment, and this sentiment can be put to various uses. For instance, when a reply message is created, the sentiment can be used to make suggestions or prompt the message creator to use different language tailored to the sentiment of the original sender. In other cases, creation of the message may be precluded until existing text is modified to better suit the recipient's sentiment.
