  • Publication number: 20240133672
Abstract: The Solid-State distinct-unidirectional photonic interferometer is an onboard opto-electronic navigational instrument that utilizes propagation of light within the instrument for continuously and independently, from other sources, detecting and measuring position, orientation, displacement, and rates of the displacement of an object in motion from within and from the motion itself.

  • Patent number: 9753049
Abstract: A light beam or other electromagnetic medium is emitted, guided, and received, all within a unitary system frame. The beam retains its characteristics regardless of position or motion of the frame in which it propagates. The beam retains its position in space relative to the detection of motion of the frame. Because the frame and the beam emitted within it are in the same frame of reference, characteristics of their motion are compared to determine parameters including system velocity and planetary velocity which is useful in navigation. Position, orientation, displacement, velocity of an object in motion, and changes in these parameters relative to previous values thereof, are derived from information provided within and directly by the motion of the unitary system itself.

  • Patent number: 8213023
Abstract: A beam of light or other electromagnetic field is emitted and received in a vacuum, all within an apparatus in motion. The nature of light permits the beam of light to retain the characteristics of its motion in vacuum, regardless of motion of the apparatus in which the emitted light propagates. The light beam retains its position in space relative to the direction of motion of the apparatus. Since both entities, light beam and apparatus, are disposed in the same frame of reference, characteristics of their motion can be compared. The result of this comparison represents the vector of velocity V of the apparatus which is utilized in navigation of the apparatus.

  • Publication number: 20120008149
Abstract: Velometer is an apparatus that comprises of a beam of light or any other electromagnetic field (hereafter referred to simply as “light”) emitted and received in vacuum inside of an object in motion. The nature of light provides for the beam of light to retain the characteristics of its motion in vacuum regardless of the object's motion in which it (light) propagates. Consequently, the beam of light retains its position in space relative to the direction of motion of the device. Since both entities, the beam of light and the object, are located in the same frame of references, the characteristics of their motion can be compared. The result of this comparison represents the vector of the object's own velocity. The vector of velocity of the object is utilized in the navigation of the object.

  • Publication number: 20080168593
Abstract: A disposable moisture absorbent glove that function as a glove itself and/or as a glove insert made to be worn directly on a wearers hand and/or between the hand and any other type of glove to remove from the surface of the skin, collect, and retain sweat and the like produced by human hands. Each disposable moisture absorbent glove comprises of any individual or combination of therewith elements: an outer shell that is made of flexible material, an inner shell that is made of a fluid pervious cover-stock, and an absorbent core interposed therebetween. The intermediate section may optionally include a fluid transfer layer interposed between the cover-stock shell and the core. The cuff or hem portion of the article may optionally include fastener means to secure the article on the wearers hand. The disposable moisture absorbent glove can be formed as traditional, conventional fingerless, and conventional palm gloves.

  • Patent number: 5810522
Abstract: A tool housing is secured to the head of an electric hand drill so that a tool head, which is secured in the drill chuck, extends into the housing. The housing is secured to one end each of a pair of spaced, parallel guide rods that extend slidably through the upper end of the frame of a working-clamping vise and which are secured at their opposite ends to an end bracket. Compression springs which surround the guide rods between the housing and the vise frame normally resist movement of the housing and the tool head toward the vise. In use, two jaws on the vise frame are moved into clamping engagement with a piece of bar stock to support the tool on the stock with the tool head and cutting bits therein disposed in spaced registry with the end of the work that is to be machined.
