Patent number: 11351341Abstract: Disclosed is a bladder drainage apparatus comprising a tube including a hollow interior extending through the tube, a flexible anchor, which behaves spring-like, connected to or at one end of the tube, and a magnetic member connected to or at the other end of the tube. The tube is moveable when the magnetic member is engaged by an external magnetic force, creating magnetic traction, and moving the tube, e.g., outward (from its original position, where the sphincter is typically closed), such that it holds open a sphincter, allowing urine to drain from the bladder, to the urethra, to outside of the body. When the external magnetic force is released, the magnetic engagement is terminated, and the force of the flexible anchor pulls the tube back to its original position, whereby the sphincter is again closed, and accordingly urine flow is stopped or otherwise limited.Type: GrantFiled: May 19, 2016Date of Patent: June 7, 2022Assignee: INNOVENTIONS LTD.Inventors: Daniel Yachia, Valentin Ponomarenko

Publication number: 20210236258Abstract: A method of manufacturing an emboli filter membrane having a three-dimensional (3D) structure from a sheet of fabric made from at least of strand and a device comprising such filter membrane. The filter membrane is manufactured using a mold made from two parts, a first part having a cavity in the shape of the three-dimensional structure surrounded by a first surface, a second part having a protrusion in the shape of the three-dimensional structure surrounded by a second surface. When the mold is closed there is a space between a surface of the cavity and a surface of the protruding portion.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 23, 2021Publication date: August 5, 2021Applicant: Keystone Heart Ltd.Inventors: Amit Ashkenazi, Valentin Ponomarenko

Publication number: 20210220110Abstract: An embolic protection device for transvascular delivery to an aortic arch of a patient for protection of side branch vessels of said aortic arch from embolic material. The device comprises a support frame, wherein at least a distal or a proximal portion of the support frame is a spring section configured for providing a radial force between the support frame and a wall of the aortic arch when in an expanded state.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 2, 2021Publication date: July 22, 2021Applicant: Keystone Heart Ltd.Inventors: Amit ASHKENAZI, Tzeela MIKOVSKI SHEMESH, Valentin PONOMARENKO

Patent number: 11007046Abstract: A urinary stent includes ends for deployment in the kidney and bladder, respectively, that are non-coplanar. The bladder end of the stent includes a luminary groove, covered by a sleeve of materials softer than the remainder of the stent, allowing urine at sufficient pressures to pass out from the stent, between the stent and the sleeve. The bladder end of the stent adapts its shape according to respiratory changes in the length of the stent. This shape change also prevents or reduces stent related pain.Type: GrantFiled: May 22, 2016Date of Patent: May 18, 2021Assignee: INNOVENTIONS LTD.Inventors: Daniel Yachia, Valentin Ponomarenko

Patent number: 10327883Abstract: A filter system comprises an expandable filter, with a first end of the filter attached to an end of a first tube, and a second end of the filter attached to an end of a second tube. The tubes are arranged telescopically with respect to each other such that telescopic movement of the first and second tubes with respect to each other causes the filter to move between a first collapsed, position and a second expanded position, where the filter extends outwardly. The filter may be a folded-over member, when in the expanded position, or a spiraling member.Type: GrantFiled: November 27, 2014Date of Patent: June 25, 2019Assignee: Innovations LTD.Inventors: Daniel Yachia, Valentin Ponomarenko
