  • Patent number: 10433727
Abstract: In a method and computer for displaying medical diagnosis data and/or information about medical diagnosis data at a display screen, an item of information of a displayed content of different categories of medical diagnosis data and/or information about medical diagnosis data is determined in the computer. Using the displayed content, region sizes for display regions, which are respectively associated with one of the different categories are determined, and the display regions are displayed dependent on their region size.

  • Patent number: 10380740
Abstract: For the determination of an image series from a set of a number of image series, in each case of a signature is compiled for each of the number of image series. This signature is formed from a set of attributes of the respective image series. A signature from the signatures for the image series is ascertained that is most similar to a prespecified signature set. An action is performed with the image series whose signature was ascertained as the most similar signature.

  • Patent number: 9058545
Abstract: In a method, device and storage medium encoded with programming instructions for automatic image registration of image data of a current medical image MR study and at least one reference study, corresponding image pairs of the current study and the reference study are formed automatically with an association machine without needing the analyze the respective image data or pixel data. The pair determination takes place exclusively on the basis of the DICOM header data. A synchronized image processing and/or presentation of the generated image pairs takes place at a monitor.
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: June 16, 2015
    Assignee: Siemens Aktiengesellschaft

  • Patent number: 8473908
Abstract: In a method, system and computer program product for administration of different versions of a configuration file for configuration of medical apparatuses in a clinical system, the configuration file can also be locally changed at the apparatus itself and be made centrally available. Together with one configuration file, a set of versions regarding the configuration file is automatically administered while maintaining consistency of the data.

  • Patent number: 8155405
Abstract: A method for lesion segmentation in 3-dimensional (3D) digital images, includes selecting a 2D region of interest (ROI) from a 3D image, the ROI containing a suspected lesion, extending borders of the ROI to 3D forming a volume of interest (VOI), where voxels on the borders of the VOI are initialized as background voxels and voxels in an interior of the VOI are initialized as foreground voxels, propagating a foreground and background voxel competition where for each voxel in the VOI, having each neighbor voxel in a neighborhood of the voxel attack the voxel, and, if the attack is successful, updating a label and strength of the voxel with that of the successful attacking voxel, and evolving a surface between the foreground and background voxels in 3D until an energy functional associated with the surface converges in value, where the surface segments the suspected lesion from the image.

  • Patent number: 7996240
Abstract: In a method and a system for determination of at least one additional examination process in the framework of a medical examination of a patient using a knowledge base, the knowledge base contains a number of rules, and each rule contains a condition from which a result can be derived. An item of patient-related information is automatically registered and used to output the examination-specific result.

  • Patent number: 7078904
Abstract: A distortion-corrected magnetic resonance examination with a magnetic resonance device is undertaken by use of a distortion correction algorithm which uses coefficients to describe a magnetic field used in a measurement. In this case, after an examination area has been selected, by including the distortion correction algorithm and the coefficients for description of the magnetic field, a measurement area needed for correction is determined. Subsequently a magnetic resonance measurement is performed in the measurement area. Subsequently a distortion-corrected magnetic resonance image of the examination area is created with the aid of the distortion correction algorithm. In addition to the examination area, the measurement area and also any necessary measurement times can be shown on a display of the magnetic resonance device. This type of magnetic resonance examination does not include in the magnetic resonance image any picture elements which were not measured because of distortion.
