  • Publication number: 20230019321
Abstract: A super enriched personal oxygen concentrator system that discards argon as waste, including a personal oxygen concentrator operatively attached to a first bed for absorbing nitrogen and second bed for absorbing oxygen, and an argon waste outlet operatively attached to the first and second beds for eliminating argon from the system. A method of using the system of the present invention, by absorbing nitrogen from compressed air from a POC with a first bed, absorbing oxygen with a second bed, discarding unabsorbed argon from the compressed air as waste, desorbing enriched oxygen product, and providing a 99% oxygen product. A fluid supply warning and communication system, wherein a primary fluid reservoir is connected to the personal oxygen concentrator system. A method of using the fluid supply warning and communication system.

  • Patent number: 9714860
Abstract: A gas supply warning and communication system to generate and communicate alarm signals indicating gas pressure and gas flow malfunctions in a pressurized gas system, and to open a reserve gas reservoir in the event of certain types of malfunction. The system stores, transmits, and makes available for download, gas pressure, gas flow, and oxygen concentration data, and information regarding the status of the system. The system also accepts commands for modification of system function from users of remote devices. A software product encoding methods for operating the gas supply warning and communication system. A motorized reservoir changing device including a universal valve coupler, and methods for operating a reservoir valve with the reservoir changing device. A gripper tube for secure connection of gas lines linking components of a pressurized gas system.

  • Patent number: 8653979
Abstract: A gas flow warning alarm device to produce an alarm indication when the gas flow rate in a pressurized gas system violates at least one predetermined limit. The alarm device includes a gas flow sensing and error signaling subassembly to generate an error signal upon sensing a violative gas flow rate, and an indicator subassembly activatable by an error signal to produce an alarm indication. The gas flow warning alarm device responds both to the depletion of a pressurized gas reservoir and to blockages and disconnections in a gas line downstream of a regulator. A method for detecting gas flow malfunctions in a pressurized gas system. A reservoir changing device to open a filled reserve reservoir of gas to a pressurized gas system upon receiving an alarm indication that pressure in a primary gas reservoir has fallen below a predetermined limit.
