The top surface, the left side wall, and the right side wall may be hinged so that the collapsible travel stool collapses flat for storage and transport. The top surface may be an inclined plane adapted for a user to place their feet upon when the collapsible travel stool is open and in front of a seat. As a non-limiting example, the collapsible travel stool may be used on a commercial aircraft to improve comfort during long trips.
