  • Patent number: 6921329
Abstract: The present invention relates to an air-distribution cap which is to be fitted on top of a heating or air-conditioning unit with natural or forced convection and the function of which is to regulate both the flow-rate and the direction of the air output by the convector. In particular, the present invention relates to a cap (1) for distributing the air output by a heating or air-conditioning unit with forced convection or with natural convection, characterized in that it comprises a deflector (3, 103) having one or more vanes (13, 113), each vane being orientable so as to adopt a position in which it is inclined to the vertical so that its outer end faces towards the wall against which the unit is fitted.

  • Publication number: 20040188082
Abstract: An air-conditioning system for rooms includes a cooling module associated to a heating system, a plurality of fan-convectors acting both as heating and cooling terminals, a single hydraulic circuit leading a fluid to said fan-convectors, said cooling module having a first inlet tube and a first outlet tube, said heating system having a second inlet tube and a second outlet tube, said single hydraulic circuit comprising an intake tube and a return tube. The cooling module comprises a three-way switching valve whose central outlet is connected to said intake tube, an inlet is connected to said second outlet tube, and an inlet is connected to said first outlet tube, with said return tube being connected to said second inlet tube and to said first inlet tube, so that said three-way switching valve connects said plurality of fan-convectors both during cooling and heating operating mode.

  • Patent number: 6120372
Abstract: A fan convector for heating air enclosed environments, comprising a fan, an intake opening with an air filter, a heat-exchanger for heating the air, and an air outlet; the fan is driven by a first electric motor which is controlled by a thermostat for switching it on/off, the fan convector also comprising a set of elements for deflecting the air flow through the air outlet, the elements being orientable on an axle moved angularly by a second electric motor to a plurality of positions between a closed position and a fully-open position, and the second electric motor being controlled by the thermostat.

  • Patent number: 4067204
Abstract: An air conditioner for dwelling rooms or the like, of the type wherein two air flows are maintained in communication with the room inside and respectively with the outer atmosphere, in cooperation with one or two holes made in the shutter glass panes of a room window. Said air conditioner is installed out of the window, on the window sill, and is put in communication with the room inside through air flow ducts mating with said glass pane holes when the window inner shutters are closed, in order to reduce the air conditioner noise and allow a free inner shutter opening. The air conditioner is associated with an upper support for the edge of the window outer rolling shutter, as well as with lateral opaque panels in order to allow a complete room darkening without hindering the air conditioner operation.
