  • Publication number: 20070076401
Abstract: The invention relates to connectors which are intended for use in the medical field. The entry diameter and the thread crest diameter of the inventive connectors are selected in relation to the corresponding diameters of standard connectors such that the assembly of a male connector (A, C) or a female connector (B, D) respectively with a standard female or male connector is prevented because the end piece of the male connector cannot penetrate the inlet duct of the female connector or because said penetration is stopped when the head of the female connector comes into contact with the flange ring of the male connector. The invention is suitable, for example, for enteral nutrition lines.

  • Patent number: 7152845
Abstract: A cock has an indexable rotating key. Indexing is achieved by a raised element on a shaped base of a housing of a barrel, and a ring which is formed at the end of the key and which is elastically deformable in a transverse plane. The raised element and ring form stubs and notches which cooperate to determine key blocking positions when the key is being rotated. The cock is suitable for use with medical instruments.

  • Patent number: 6964637
Abstract: The tab on the blade of a laryngoscope presents a flexible hook and an elastically-flexible wall for being inclined towards the hook when it engages a stationary abutment situated on the handle of the laryngoscope while the hook is engaged on a bar present in a cavity of the laryngoscope.

  • Publication number: 20050245874
Abstract: The invention concerns a device for locoregional anesthesia, comprising an electrically stimulated puncture needle (3) provided with a fixed hub (4), a cannula (12) and a catheter (15), said cannula consisting of a tube (1) and a fixed hub (2) adapted to be mounted on the hub (4) of the needle and the catheter being adapted to slide inside the cannula. The invention is characterized in that the cannula has from end to end a longitudinal slot (6, 7) enabling the cannula to be laterally separated from the catheter through said slot. The invention is applicable to anesthesia of a limb or a specific part of the body.

  • Publication number: 20050225082
Abstract: The invention concerns a fluid connector, comprising two respectively male and female tubular hubs (1, 4). Each connector includes one fitting end (1a, 4a) for an end piece and another nesting end (1b, 4b). The female hub comprises external notches (6) for axially retaining a locking flange (7), which is fixed on the male hub by penetration of the hub pins (3) into slots (8) of the flange. The invention is applicable in the medical field.

  • Publication number: 20040220454
Abstract: The package is constituted by a closed outer bag (S) enabling its content to be sterilized and kept sterile, and an inner sheath (G) containing the blade between a closed end of the sheath and an open end of the sheath, the sheath being thin and tear-resistant so as to enable the blade to be mounted on the handle and separated therefrom without removing the sheath and so that the sheath can be turned inside out. The invention is applicable to packaging laryngoscope blades.
