    Abstract: The central unit of a PABX telephone system includes an associated computer unit that operates to provide visual information to an operator when calls to an extension in the system are to be intercepted. The associated computer unit includes a memory into which a subscriber to the system enters information relating to the reason his calls are to be intercepted, or the like. Any calls to the intercepted extension are routed to the operator, who is simultaneously provided with a visual display of the information stored in the computer memory.
