Abstract: A windshield wiper blade cover and a wiper blade having same. The windshield wiper blade cover being capable of being disposed on the top side of a beam of a wiper blade, and comprising two longitudinal sides, two outer ends and a top surface, where the top surface of the cover has a base portion having a height and a raised portion having a height, the height of the raised portion is greater than the height of the base portion, and the height of the raised portion gradually decreases as the raised portion approaches the outer ends of the cover. The wiper blade comprising a cover as described above, a beam having two ends, two longitudinal sides, a top side and a bottom side, a central bridge disposed on the top side of the beam, a wiper strip disposed on the bottom side of the beam, and the cover disposed on the top side of the beam.
