    Abstract: An infrared lighting device for motor vehicles, for example a headlight, has a radiation source and a filter, whereby the device emits white and infrared radiation at a certain intensity in a wavelength range between 800 and 1200 nm on one axis, and the filter at a first angle may transmit a first visible part and at a second angle different from the first may transmit a second visible part of the radiation source, and both parts transmitted form white light.
