Abstract: Disclosed herein are compositions and methods for styling hair comprising at least two latex polymers, wherein at least one latex polymer is a film-forming polymer; at least one aminofunctional silicone; at least one thickening agent chosen from optionally crosslinked and/or neutralized 2-acrylamido-2-methylpropanesulfonic acid polymers (AMPS) and copolymers, crosslinked anionic copolymers of acrylamide, crosslinked anionic copolymers of AMPS, emulsions of crosslinked anionic copolymers of acrylamide/nonionic surfactants, emulsions of AMPS/nonionic surfactants, or mixtures thereof; at least one nonionic surfactant chosen glyceryl esters, fatty alcohols, alkoxylated alcohols and lanolin, alkylpolyglucosides, or mixtures thereof; and water; wherein the at least two latex polymers are present in a combined amount ranging from about 0.1% to about 30% by weight, relative to the weight of the composition.
