Abstract: Rubber composition, which can be used for the manufacture of tires, based on at least one diene elastomer, one reinforcing filler, one vulcanization system and one maleimide compound, characterized in that the said maleimide compound is a polymaleimide of formula: in which: R1, R2, R3 and R4 are identical or different hydrocarbon radicals, n is equal to 0 or 1 with X being a nitrogen atom if n=0 and X being a carbon or silicon atom if n=1. Use of such a composition for the manufacture of a finished article or of a semi-finished product made of rubber intended for a motor vehicle ground-contact system, in particular of a tire.

The invention also concerns a process for preparing a rubber composition having an improved reversion resistance, a finished article intended for a suspension system of an automotive vehicle, in particular a tire.

The coupling system comprises a polysulfurized alkoxysilane (“PSAS”) coupling agent (inorganic filler/diene elastomer) associated with a 1,2-dihydropyridine and a guanidine derivative. The present invention is further directed to tires and semi-finished products for tires comprising a rubber composition according to the invention. The invention is also directed to a coupling system (inorganic filler/diene elastomer) for a rubber composition based on a diene elastomer reinforced by an inorganic filler, where the coupling system comprises a polysulfurized alkoxysilane (PSAS) coupling agent in association with a 1,2-dihydropyridine and a guanidine derivative.
