  • Publication number: 20200071930
Abstract: A method, system, and tool are disclosed for installation of ceiling tiles in an improved mounting hook assembly to form a concealed grid system The system includes elements for attaching the mounting hook assembly to the tile; rotating a load bearing lever member; rotating a positioning lever member to position the load bearing member on a flange of a T grid bar; and fixing the tile below the T grid at a distance that is greater than the thickness of the tile so that when the tile is lifted up, the load bearing lever is returned to a position above the flange level of the T grid and any tile can be removed or installed in a totally concealed grid system without dislocating tiles already laid. A tool is used to engage and disengage the tiles.

  • Publication number: 20100239235
Abstract: A panel heater with enhanced safety features for us as room heaters disposable on at least one of a wall and a floor includes: a flat panel heater component; at least one protrusion provided on at least one of a top surface and a bottom surface of the flat panel heater component; and a covering surrounding at least one of the top surface and the bottom surface of the flat panel heater component. The flat panel heater component includes one of a) an electrical heating element incorporated in an oil filled chamber; and b) a wire heating element covered with an electrical insulating material. The at least one protrusion creates an air gap between at least one of the top surface and the bottom surface of the flat panel heater component and the covering, thereby reducing temperatures attained on surfaces of the flat panel heater component and the covering significantly.

  • Publication number: 20070001334
Abstract: A process for preparation of improved ceiling tiles having different densities at desired points involves the step of preparing a slurry mix of 40-45% hydrated calcium silicate gel and a low density binder; 20-25% reinforcing fibre selected from mineral wool, glass wool and paper pulp; 3-5% gypsum, cellulose pulp and fillers selected from pulverized fly ash and calcium carbonate, pouring the slurry mix into a mould, introducing a false form, subjecting to vacuum and pressure to obtain the more or less material at desired points, removing the false form and further subjecting the semisolid slurry to pressure from top to produce tile with or without reinforcing ribs.
