Abstract: Network devices may include shadowed parameters and duplicated algorithms, each of which being used to decrease channel switch time. A network device may use a controller to instruct various systems (MAC layer, PHY layer, and radio circuit) to create and store the shadowed parameters, which include channel-dependent parameters for each channel. The duplicated algorithms may be specific algorithms used for a particular channel. The shadowed parameters are pre-programmed and thus, do not require reprogramming prior to a channel switch operation. Additionally, the controller can instruction the MAC layer, the PHY layer and the radio circuit to cease operations prior to a channel switch operation.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for improved non-simultaneous transmit receive (NSTR) communication. In one or more implementations, improved NSTR communication can be achieved, at least in part, by determining which of multiple links on which to transmit data, at least in part, by comparing a rate ratio to a threshold that is based on an expected wait time for backoff, a maximum transmission time for the multiple links, and/or an overhead for transmission one or more of the links.

Abstract: Methods and systems for estimating Temporal Correlation (TC) of a propagation channel are provided. In an embodiment, a method for estimating the TC of the propagation channel comprises obtaining multiple channel quality reports of the propagation channel and estimating the TC of the propagation channel based on the multiple channel quality reports.
