  • Publication number: 20170250986
Abstract: Controlling access to position information. Control of access to position information may be provided by exchanging authenticating messages that restrict distribution of the position information to authorized recipients. Alternatively, control of access may be provided by limiting when hardware that determines position information is active.

  • Publication number: 20120182180
Abstract: Positioning systems and methods comprise a network of transmitters that broadcast positioning signals comprising ranging signals and positioning system information. A ranging signal comprises information used to measure a distance to a transmitter broadcasting the ranging signal. A reference sensor array comprising at least one reference sensor unit is positioned at a known location. A remote receiver includes an atmospheric sensor collecting atmospheric data at a position of the remote receiver. A positioning application is coupled to the remote receiver and generates a reference pressure estimate at the position of the remote receiver using the atmospheric and reference data from the reference sensor array. The positioning application computes the position of the remote receiver using the reference pressure estimate and information derived from at least one of the positioning signals and satellite signals that are signals of a satellite-based positioning system. The position includes an elevation.

  • Patent number: 7150021
Abstract: A method and apparatus to allocate resource capacity within an interconnect device in accordance with a resource allocation table (e.g., a priority list) facilitate identification of a resource consumer to be allocated a portion of the resource capacity in an efficient manner. The resource allocation table stores a number of allocation entries indicating an allocation of the resource capacity to a number of resource consumers (e.g., virtual lanes). A ranking vector corresponding to a first allocation entry within the allocation table is retrieved. A pending request vector, indicating for which of the plurality of resource consumers a resource request is pending, is generated. A selected resource consumer to consume at least a portion of the resource capacity is selected, the selection being performed utilizing the ranking vector and the pending request vector.

  • Patent number: 7100133
Abstract: The present invention facilitates automation of system on a chip (SoC) design, manufacture and verification in a convenient and efficient manner. In one embodiment, a SoC netlist builder and verification computer system of the present invention includes a user interface module, a parameter application module, an expert system module and a chip level netlist generation module. The user interface module provides user friendly and convenient interfaces that facilitate easy entry and modification of user selections and parameters. The parameter application module interprets information supplied by the user module and the expert system module and creates directions (e.g., command lines) passed to other modules for execution. The expert system module analyzes information and automatically provides SoC building and verification data including automated addition of default architectural features, automated insertion of default parameters, and automated input of information to the verification module.
