Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for recovering or preparing to recover fluid media from underground reservoirs, which enables hitherto non-profitable reservoirs (mini-cavities) containing fluid media to be joined up underground to form a commercially viable reservoir. This object is established according to the invention by a method, is set forth in claim 1. for recovering or preparing to recover fluid media from underground reservoirs and comprising the following steps: sinking at least two substantially vertical boreholes or shafts into the earth's surface introducing at least one pipe consisting of at least one section into each of the vertical boreholes or shafts, the at least one section of pipe having at least one opening in the lower portion of its wall, the openings in the sections of the at least two pipes each being aligned with a selected point between two pipes and this point being located between the at least two substantially vertical boreholes.
