  • Publication number: 20230230684
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a catheter design tool and methods thereof for selecting or designing an optimal catheter profile for a particular patient or group of patients. For example, the tool includes a data set (e.g., input into the system) pertaining to a plurality of anatomy parameters and a plurality of catheter parameters to determine one or more catheter profiles that allow the best implant efficacy for a particular patient or group of patients. Specifically, the tool evaluates the efficacy of a particular catheter profile for use with a particular patient, the most optimal catheter profile from a plurality of catheter profiles for use with a particular patient, and/or the most optimal catheter profile from a plurality of catheter profiles for use with a group of patients.

  • Publication number: 20230115218
Abstract: Resolving default values based on custom objects, criteria and rules is described. The method includes instantaneous process of determining the default values of fields based on several associations and criteria among other group of fields. Further, several options are given to the user to define associations between fields and also define custom criteria to determine the target value. In addition, a generic rule engine is implemented in order to handle interactive events on the fields on the web application and re-evaluate the existing field values and update them accordingly. Thereafter, it significantly improves the whole process of assigning values to fields, increase data integrity, reduce manual intervention and errors.

  • Patent number: 11583658
Abstract: An example catheter includes a handle assembly having a control member, an elongate body, a pull wire, and at least one radiopaque marker. The elongate body defines a lumen configured to receive a medical electrical lead including at least one electrode array. The elongate body includes a proximal portion coupled to the handle assembly and a distal portion that includes an articulating segment and a preformed curve segment. The at least one radiopaque marker is positioned on the distal portion. The pull wire extends from the control member and is anchored to the elongate body distal to the articulating segment such that actuation of the control member controllably bends the articulating segment in a first curve in a first geometric plane. The preformed curve segment defines a second curve in a second geometric plane different from the first geometric plane.

  • Publication number: 20220323102
Abstract: An implant tool system includes an implantable medical lead and a delivery catheter. The implantable medical lead is configured to be delivered through an access point on a body of a patient. The delivery catheter is configured to deliver the implantable medical lead along an implantation path in the body of the patient. A visual marker is positioned on a body of the implantable medical lead. The visual marker is positioned proximal a distal end of the implantable medical lead by a distance indicative of a length of lead to introduce into the body of the patient. The visual marker may be positioned such that introduction of the length of lead into the body of the patient provides lead slack that reduces the likelihood of one or more of dislodgment of the implantable medical lead from the implant point or damage to a tissue of the patient.

  • Publication number: 20220226636
Abstract: Implantable apparatus includes two or more alignable marker elements, and systems and methods for manufacturing such implantable apparatus, and methods to utilize such implantable apparatus. For example, the implantable apparatus may include a first alignable marker element and a second alignable marker element that may be used to ensure proper alignment with a target site.

  • Patent number: 10282353
Abstract: Proactive duplicate identification may include receiving a document, and determining data related to the document. The documents may be indexed from history data and/or current data for duplicate analysis of the document. The indexing of the documents may include an initial indexing based on the determination of the data related to the document for an initial data field, and a further indexing based on a further determination of further data related to the document for a further data field. The initial indexing may narrow a scope of the documents for the duplicate analysis, and the further indexing may further narrow the scope of the documents for the duplicate analysis. The indexed documents may be used to perform the duplicate analysis of the document to determine whether the document is a duplicate document, a probable duplicate document, or a non-duplicate document.
