  • Publication number: 20250257634
Abstract: A perforating gun string includes a release tool, a perforating gun, and a plug. The perforating gun string may include or be part of a downhole tool that is electrically communicable via a control system. A first switch (or “RT switch”) is associated with the release tool and is operably coupled to a first detonator. A second switch (or “gun switch”) is associated with the perforating gun and is operably coupled to a second detonator. A third switch (or “plug switch”) is associated with the plug and is operably coupled to an igniter. A counter system includes a plurality of counters adapted to track usage of one or more switches in the perforating gun string, including the first switch, the second switch, the third switch, or any combination thereof.

  • Publication number: 20250229739
Abstract: A camera measurement module is configured to determine first measurements of an occupant of a seat based on an image captured using a camera within the passenger cabin of the vehicle. A radar measurement module is configured to determine second measurements of the occupant of the seat within the passenger cabin of the vehicle based on radar signals from a radar sensor, A measurement module is configured to determine third measurements of the occupant of the seat within the passenger cabin based on at least one of: the first measurements of the occupant of the seat; and the second measurements of the occupant of the seat. An actuator control module is configured to selectively actuate an actuator of a restraint associated with the seat based on the one or more third measurements of the occupant of the seat.

  • Patent number: 10294752
Abstract: A catch-and-release tool conveyed with a well casing for use in a wellbore comprising an outer housing having flow ports therethrough, a functioning apparatus disposed within the outer housing comprising a movable member/sleeve and a holding device, and a blocking apparatus comprising a blocking member configured to block the flow ports in a first position. When a ball deployed into the well casing passes through the tool in a downstream direction and moves back in an upstream direction, the restriction element engages onto the holding device and moves the movable member such that a port is exposed to up hold pressure and the blocking member travels to a second position in a reverse direction unblocking flow ports and enabling fluid communication to the wellbore. The ball is thereafter released in an upstream direction.
