  • Publication number: 20240000577
Abstract: Convertible shoulder arthroplasty systems and configurations for components thereof are described. In some embodiments, an implant component is provided. The implant component includes one of a glenoid component comprising a concave outer surface, and a glenosphere component comprising a convex outer surface. The system may also include one of a first baseplate comprising a central bossed portion extending from an underside thereof and a central aperture disposed therethrough or a second baseplate comprising a central bossed portion extending from a top side thereof and a central aperture disposed there through. In some implementations, an anchor boss comprising a central aperture extending therethrough is provided. The system may include a central compression screw configured to be secured through the central aperture and, thereby, securely compress the first baseplate, the second baseplate or the anchor boss against the patient bone.

  • Patent number: 4070409
Abstract: A process for recovering anthracene from crude anthracene, which comprises treatment of crude anthracene with an aprotic bipolar solvent N,N-dimethylacetamide. After such treatment suspension I is obtained which is separated into liquid and solid phases. The solid phase is treated with N,N-dimethylacetamide at a temperature within the range of from 52.degree. to 135.degree. C to give suspension II containing impurities which are insoluble in the solvent employed. These impurities are separated from said suspension II, while the remaining solution is cooled to a temperature within the range of from -10.degree. to +40.degree. C to give suspension III containing crystals of anthracene. The resulting crystals are separated from the suspension. The process according to the present invention makes it possible to recover anthracene from crude anthracene with a yield of from 76.6 to 80%. Purity grade of the final product, as to the content of anthracene, is 97.2 to 98.9%.

  • Patent number: 3990390
Abstract: Substrate supply and windup rolls are arranged in a housing arranged at each end of a vacuum coating chamber. Gate means provide for optionally sealing of one housing for loading and unloading purposes while simultaneously coating a continuous strip related to the supply and windup rolls of the second housing. Carriage means carry tension rolls at the extreme ends thereof and reciprocate across the coating chamber in operative association with said housings at the extremes of the reciprocating movement whereby to effect the coating and loading or unloading operations.
